Logistics Sales

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Logistics Sales Associate to join our team! Birkett Freight Solutions is a leading refrigerated trucking company dedicated to providing exceptional temperature-controlled transportation solutions. This position will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving sales growth in the transportation of temperature-sensitive goods. This position requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the logistics industry, and a proactive approach to generating new business opportunities.


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the refrigerated transportation sector. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company’s market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
  • Execute sales plans, forecast sales volumes, and achieve sales targets. Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Use insights to refine sales strategies and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to optimize sales processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry. Experience in refrigerated trucking sales is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of transportation logistics, supply chain management, and temperature-controlled cargo.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
